In contrast, Korea%u2019s integrity score showed the most significant increase (+0.28).Despite these improvements, it is still necessary to enhance the integrity of Korean society by leveraging its advantages as an IT-advanced nation. This includes eliminating unnecessary online regulations and allowing free competition. At the same time, it is increasingly important to promote citizen participation through social media, continuously improve the fair execution of justice and judicial independence, and strengthen anti-money laundering measures to prevent illicit funds.Meanwhile, Korea has a higher CCI than the CPI. If the evaluation is primarily based on the existing CPI method, the efforts to control corruption may not be properly reflected, leading to an underestimation of the actual level of integrity and potential disadvantages in integrity assessments.Therefore, the Korean government should persuade Transparency International (TI) to create and incorporate a separate index, such as the CCI proposed in this study, into the integrity assessment, in addition to the existing CPI.
